Academic Team
A fairly concise definition of Academic Team competition was offered to me by Ken Jennings, the winningest Jeopardy player of all time: “It’s like team Jeopardy”. Seriously, he told me that at a Nationals Tournament in Chicago once.
Until then, as we say in the science-sport-art of Academic Team competition: perceptum totus! (that’s Latin for “study everything”).

National Honor Society (NHS)
Our chapter the National Honor Society is not just a club, it is a place where community is forged. It goes far beyond a report card. By empowering, championing, and recognizing well-rounded students, NHS provides schools with a values-based framework to elevate a culture of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Our chapter takes these four tenets seriously. NHS chapters operate in all 50 states and many schools around the world, engaging and serving more than 1.4 million students.

COL Ambassadors is an organization of senior students who actively participate in planning and executing new student orientation, as well as volunteer to represent Chain of Lakes Collegiate when called upon. We have sign-ups in the spring, and we meet over the summer months to plan for new student orientation.
